pinning and cutting out
stitching and pressing
applying a zipper
Fabrics, machines, and supplies are provided for class:
You may bring your own sewing machine and sewing supplies, or borrow mine during class

Sew a Tote Bag

A beginner project for adults that teaches basic skills while making a stylish bag. The bag is fully lined with an inside patch pocket. A great accessory for shopping or carrying extra items.
In this class you will learn some basic sewing skills:
pinning and cutting out a pattern
stitching and pressing seams
applying a patch pocket
You’ll need to bring:
Supplies needed for class:
5/8th yard for bag twill, dock, or quilting cotton
7/8th yard for lining and pocket quilting cotton
Pre-wash fabric if possible
One spool matching thread
You may bring your own sewing machine and sewing supplies, or borrow mine during class
